On that basis, it helps the company clearly understand the status of energy use; Offer more effective energy saving solutions for companies to apply and consider in purchasing equipment in the future. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Head of Technical Department - Can Tho Energy Saving Center, commented: "Before the audit, we recorded the solutions the company has implemented and the results show that this is a typical energy saving in Can Tho".

The audit results recorded that the average power consumption rate and power consumption rate in 2011, 2012 and 8 months of 2013 gradually decreased over the years. In 2011, the average consumption rate was about 0.125 kWh/packaged product, in 2012 this number decreased to about 0.121 kWh/product and in the first 8 months of 2013 it was about 0.118 kWh/product.

Mr. Le Anh Vu, Deputy Head of Project Department - Can Tho Energy Saving Center, calculated: "From the results of annual electricity consumption surveys, it can be calculated that in 2012, Sadico Can Tho saved 240,000 VND." kWh, with an electricity price of 1,400 VND/kWh, it will be equivalent to about 336 million VND; In 2013, an additional 180,000 kWh was saved compared to 2012, with an electricity price of 1,600 VND/kWh, equivalent to 288 million VND".

According to Mr. Lam Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Manager of the Mechanical and Electrical Workshop, who is in charge of the energy segment of Sadico Can Tho, to achieve the above results, Sadico Can Tho leaders have always considered energy saving as a top solution. to reduce production costs. Mr. Tuan said: "For about 4-5 years now, the company has applied many solutions such as temperature insulation of plastic heating equipment; Install inverters for equipment and motors. In addition, the replacement of the lighting system to compact lamps is also done synchronously."

According to Mr. Tuan, the most obvious effect is when the company equips more machinery and equipment but the energy consumption is reduced compared to before. In addition, the company also implements a policy of emulating technical improvements in workshops to encourage employees in the company to learn and propose technical solutions that bring benefits, such as: savings. electricity, save equipment operating and maintenance costs, improve productivity and product quality.

However, the audit results of the Can Tho Energy Saving Center also show that the company's electricity use is still limited, such as the company's monthly electricity consumption is unstable. Can Tho Energy Saving Center has proposed to the company a number of solutions with potential to save energy, such as: fixing compressed air leaks in systems, avoiding overuse of compressed air in cleaning, renovate underground pipelines, close the gas distribution system, and build an electrical energy monitoring system. According to the audit team's calculations, when implementing the above solutions, the company can also save nearly 235 million VND/year.

Can Tho Energy Conservation Center also affirmed that with the results achieved, Sadico Can Tho's approach is definitely a model that will be replicated in the near future.
